Pyradym ™ is a self-contained electrically powered apparatus designed to stimulate and facilitate the human body's innate self-healing mechanisms. It consists of 4 basic functional systems: a sound frequency generating system, a physioacoustic vibration system, a corresponding light therapy system, and a crystal energy radiating system. These components are housed in a portable pyramidal-shaped enclosure constructed from the finest select hardwoods. There is a single recessed steel panel on one side of the unit which contains the user interface for controlling the pitch and tonal quality of the generated sound frequencies. This panel also contains the entry point for the AC supply cord, power switch, and line protection fuse holder

The Therapist or user controls the pitch and tonal quality of the sound frequencies. The Physioacoustic and Light Therapy elements are situated beneath the Crystal Capstone, and correspond to the sound frequencies by increasing and decreasing in intensity. The panel figure indicates the corresponding colour generated beneath the Crystal Capstone.

The Crystal Particle Fountain TM is also located beneath the Crystal Capstone and provides a mild radiated ultrasonic stimulus incorporating Reiki healing symbology while the device is in operation.

SOUND GENERATION:

A wide range of sound qualities are available by combining the three tone generation sources available to the practitioner. Labeled TONE 1, TONE 2, and TONE 3, they each feature a SOFT and HARD selectable tonal quality. The SOFT tone position generates a hollow sound (comprised of an odd-order harmonic series) and is reminiscent of an singing bowl or a bassoon. The HARD tone position generates a “raspier” sound (comprised of even and odd-order harmonics) and is reminiscent of a didgeridoo or Tibetan throat singing.

The selector switch for TONE 1 has an OFF position as does TONE 2. Note that TONE 2 has a knob for varying the pitch of that tone. Full counter-clockwise on this control tunes the pitch to unison with that of the pitch of TONE 1. Full clockwise increases the pitch to about an octave above TONE 1. Note that TONE 3 does not have a selectable OFF position, but the volume is controllable by the AMOUNT control adjustment, full clockwise being the maximum volume.

TONE 1 is dedicated to a preset tuned pitch for each of the seven Chakra locations. The Root Pitch of each of the tone generators is selectable via the SELECT switch on the left side of the panel. There are 7 selectable pitches available, corresponding to the traditional 7 Chakra locations of the human body. Each time the SELECT button is depressed, the pitch will increase corresponding to the next highest Chakra setting, as indicated. The selected Chakra pitch will be displayed by a coloured window in the human figure to the left. When the button is depressed while the selector is in the 7 th Chakra location, the system will advance to a MUTE position as indicated by the corresponding light below the figure. The sound and lights will cease in this location.

The STEP TIMER function will do this automatically at a rate of 1 to 8 minutes per Chakra location dependant upon the control setting. The panel also has a ¼” jack for use with a set of headphones which outputs the same audio signal that the unit itself reproduces through a single tactile driver located in the cabinet, and they each have separate VOLUME controls. There is a MUTE pushbutton switch which allows the tactile driver to be muted, while not interrupting the external sound output. The tactile driver is powered by a high quality linear power amplifier.
